Definitely not going to plan

Off to sydney this weekend to catchup with Christine/Bruce from Hervey bay who are coming down for the Pearl Jam concert.
Flynn's been a bit sick since late wednesday night however has shown signs of improvement so we've decided to go anyway.
Given that he still was a bit tired etc, we decided to get takeaway and eat in at JnA's that night.
Towards the end of the meal, Sandra came down sick and now possibly has what Flynn has got?

Flynn didn't have a good night on Friday (neither did mum) and we had one more upchuck plus lack of sleep however he seemed to be getting better and so I was scheduled to accompany CnB to the zoo in the morning and leave the sick ones some peace and quite to recover.
However
15mins before departure and he upchucked all over the place, so I pulled out of the zoo plans and started looking for a doctor to take him to as he then started to get really lethargic.
We saw the docs near J&As place and they referred us to the Sydney Childrens hospital where we spent most of the afternoon, first trying to get him to drink some hydrolyte and then resting in between rehydration sessions in the ward.
(rehydrating essentially involved holding him firmly and squirting hydrolite or diluted apple juice into his mouth....he was not impressed)
After a few hours, he started to perk up a bit, get some strength back, and really let us know how unhappy he was however the doctors were encouraged by this behaviour and assessed him as having a severe viral infection that has been affecting his ears, mouth/tonsils, lymph glands in his throat plus giving him nausea.

Released from hospital (thankfully no need for drips) and back to JnA's in time for dinner (pizza) with CnB to find out how their day went.
